Enisi is fiercely loyal and protective. Set in GA with lush characters! If you want a Black book that does not center trauma, this is the one! Not an average trope either.

Loved this book... It is the story of the Bleu family and their family tree, (literally and figuratively), ENISI. The story kept me engaged... I was excited as I anticipated what would happen next. This novel of a family that loves, laughs, fights, overcomes and perseveres under the watchful and protective Enisi, their tree, had many turns and twists. Is he a good tree or a bad tree? Experiencing Black fantasy happening on mother Earth, in our time, in the south; and not some far away place in space or dystopian world of metal and machines, is such a creative and refreshing perspective. This is what mostly made me feel, "wow", about [this] novel... The idea that Enisi; the Bleus' family tree, telepathically communicates with family members that are "green souls", was thrilling; and when we find out he can "do" things, it is shocking. The Bleu Realm, is intergenerational joy created over and over again, with the same tree, all powerful and omni present. The family expands and its' members transition with age and time yet Enisi seems immortal and steadfast. This book is a totally new take on the themes of how we show up as humans, as family members, as individuals and how all of these manifestations and connections are tied to the life/lives/life forces on earth. We are ONE. Trees included.

I guess I will start with the beautiful cover art which set the mood for an adventure of a lifetime. I know easy comparisons are a dime a dozen when talking up a book, but truly and honestly Enisi, The Bleu Realm, is a superb, exciting, and astonishing.

I finished reading Enisi - The Bleu Realm, this past weekend. It was a really good read as you venture into the Bleu family secrets, learning about green souls and of course the ever present bantering between, soulmates, family, and ancient horticultural beings. It was quite a journey as you respond to human tragedy, the importance of family, and soul sisters while nestled in the backdrop of the grand south where summers are hot, lemonade is refreshing, and cold watering holes are a blessing.  I really enjoyed [the] story's twists and turns while visiting the mystical valley. Like I said, it is a good read.
